Witchblade (2001)

Episode Overview

Sara Pezzini and her partner Danny Woo are back on the trail of the elusive mobster Tommy Gallo. As before, Gallo's henchman tricks Sara into entering a museum, where she encounters the Witchblade, which designates her as its chosen bearer. This time, however, she's wiser and opts not to confront Gallo at the Rialto Theater, despite the familiar circumstances. Meanwhile, Kenneth Irons has his own ambitions and plans to seize the Witchblade from Sara, even if it means her demise. Ian Nottingham finds himself torn between protecting Sara and obeying Irons. Using a hit on Sara as bait, Irons enlists the ruthless Cristina, who first buries Danny alive to eliminate him. In a fit of rage, Sara kills Cristina before she can reveal Danny's location. With time running out, Sara frantically searches for her partner, desperate to save him from a horrible fate.
