Ben Fogle: New Lives In The Wild (2013)

Episode Overview

Ben is accustomed to isolated environments, but his upcoming journey to Alaska promises to push his boundaries. The only way to reach his hosts' residence is by bush plane; trekking would take him ten days through dangerous grizzly bear territory. Upon arrival, he meets the Turner couple, Mike and Fran, who invite him into their humble, handcrafted log cabin. Ben learns about their commitment to a self-sustaining way of life, as they cultivate the land and trap local wildlife to thrive in the wilderness.
