Mr. Midnight: Beware the Monsters (2022)

Episode Overview

Pingu and Pinga are in their igloo, trying to pick a record to play. Pingu selects one and sets it on the record player, but Pinga notices that Mother has dozed off in her chair. They decide to take the record player outside, but realize it isn’t plugged in and won’t work. Spotting a wind turbine on a nearby igloo, Pingu gets an idea to make one himself. He rummages through the shed and finds a broken turbine, which he quickly repairs. After mounting it on the igloo roof, the loud thud wakes Mother momentarily. When they connect the turbine to the record player, they’re disheartened to find there’s no wind. They try to turn the record by hand, but it doesn’t help. Just then, Father arrives on his motorized sledge and checks the battery. Pingu, feeling stuck, has a lightbulb moment and uses the sledge’s battery to power the record player
