Mr. Midnight: Beware the Monsters (2022)

Episode Overview

Pingu is at home, having fun pretending to fly airplanes, when a letter arrives for him. Inside, he finds an invitation to a birthday party. Pinga is eager to see it, but Pingu refuses to share, prompting Mother to step in. After looking at the invitation, she gives Pingu a fish to buy a gift and insists he take Pinga with him, despite their reluctance. At the toy store, Pingu chooses a model airplane as the perfect present. However, on their way back, he continues to be unkind to Pinga, even hiding from her. He trips and accidentally sends the gift sliding into a narrow crevice, which gets partially blocked by ice, leaving only a bit of ribbon visible. After searching, Pingu discovers the present’s location and, thrilled by Pinga’s suggestion, lets her squeeze through the gap to retrieve it. Back home, Pingu explains the mishap to Mother before heading to the party, happily bringing Pinga along
