Episode Overview

Robson's adventure kicks off under the cover of darkness at RAF Brize Norton. His first stop is a remote outpost in the Atlantic Ocean: Ascension Island, the most isolated fishing spot he's ever encountered. With a population of fewer than a thousand, the island's underexploited waters offer Robson the chance of a lifetime. He sets his sights on the formidable Six Gill Shark, a prehistoric creature that can exceed 500 kilograms, testing his strength as he attempts to reel it in. The island is rich with fish, and locals are eager to show their angling skills. Embracing a traditional approach, Robson even ventures into the surf to catch Triggerfish by hand. He teams up with local fisherman Noddy, who promises a fishing experience unlike any other. After just an hour of fishing, Robson is worn out, and they need a crane to haul in their impressive catch.
