Episode Overview

While in Clay City, Jim Hardie witnesses a stagecoach arrive with its driver and guard killed, and the cash missing. The two passengers claim they were victims of a robbery by two men. However, Hardie has his doubts about their story, particularly regarding one of the passengers, who seems unlikely to have been involved in the heist.
