Episode Overview

As astronauts from more than 14 nations come together aboard the ISS, they share their unique experiences and marvel at the breathtaking view of Earth, fostering a strong sense of unity among them. With the conclusion of the Space Shuttle program, the U.S. finds itself reliant on Russia, purchasing seats on their Soyuz rockets to transport its astronauts to the ISS. However, following Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, ethical concerns arise about partnering with Putin's regime for future space endeavors, especially as the ISS nears the end of its operational life.
