After a heartfelt reunion with her mother, Veronica takes on a new case to locate Neptune High’s cherished mascot, Polly the Parrot, which has seemingly been snatched by a rival school just before an important basketball game. At the same time, Veronica's doubts about the Kane family resurface, prompting her to seek out her father's original interrogation recordings. Meanwhile, tensions rise in Veronica's budding romance with Deputy Leo, while Meg and Duncan's relationship also intensifies.
