Rocky approaches Alex with a request to direct his original musical, RATS, and Alex eagerly agrees, unaware that he lacks any directing experience. As the production begins to unravel, Alex comes to the painful conclusion that he should have been honest with Rocky about his inexperience and the many lessons he still needs to learn in the world of directing.
