Dre has always been okay with Pops dating, but he draws the line when it comes to Ruby. When she invites Dre and Bow to meet her new boyfriend, Dre instantly becomes protective and looks for reasons to disapprove of him. Realizing the guy is serious about Ruby, Pops hatches a scheme to keep her occupied. Meanwhile, Junior connects with a girl through a dating app, but Zoey, Jack, and Diane suspect a scam. They come together to create a plan to meet this girl face-to-face and uncover the truth.
