When Mr. Twinkacetti neglects to remember his wedding anniversary for the sixteenth time, Edwina has had enough and kicks him out. He turns to Balki for a temporary place to stay, but he shows little interest in mending things with Edwina. Determined to help, Larry and Balki step in and devise a plan to reunite the couple.
