Episode Overview
Cooper is determined to seek justice for the Wilson family. He starts by confronting two of Kilgore's henchmen, and in a tense showdown, he outguns them. Just as he's about to leave, Texas Ranger Cabe Wallace intervenes to discuss the events surrounding the altercation. Satisfied that Cooper acted in self-defense, Wallace warns him about the fine line between justice and revenge before offering him a Texas Ranger badge, which Cooper accepts. He then sets out to find Kilgore but is ambushed and shot. Wounded, he wanders into the desert, where a group of Indians rescues him and nurses him back to health. Meanwhile, Bedoe plans to acquire the Wilson land, but Sarah stands up against him, gaining the Sheriff’s support. Tragically, Kilgore kills the Sheriff, and when Wallace returns to confront Kilgore, he meets the same fate. Once he has recovered, Cooper comes back to face Kilgore, ultimately defeating him and
