Enter Sarah and her mother, who are connected to Julie in unexpected ways. Years ago, Sarah's father, who looks eerily similar to Mr. Gone, committed a tragic act by killing his colleagues before taking his own life. In a moment of vulnerability, Sarah reveals to Julie that she has been holding onto one of her father’s firearms. She also shares the pain of being embarrassed at a school dance, where her so-called friend Jimmy turned against her to become more popular. Anger consumes Sarah as she contemplates revenge against Jimmy.
