Episode Overview
Kevin encounters flying instructor Colin Mackinnon and trapeze artist Marta Briongos as they embark on constructing a remarkable metal home beside their private airfield in Strathaven, Scotland. Few in Britain can boast ownership of an airfield, making Colin and Marta part of an exclusive group. Their airfield holds great significance for them, prompting the decision to reside there as well. They've commissioned a stunning metal sculptural house, crafted by one of Scotland’s top architects and inspired by aircraft hangars. However, challenges arise as relentless rain, snow, 100-mile-an-hour winds, and the worst storms in a century hinder progress, pushing their year-long project into its third year.
