Episode Overview

Following a near-fatal brain haemorrhage, Bram Vis, along with his wife Lisa and their two kids, sets out to construct a communal home on a coastal lot on the Isle of Wight. Kevin McCloud documents their journey as they embark on creating an expansive residence that features entertaining areas and a swimming pool. However, it quickly becomes evident that the magnitude of their endeavor is overwhelming, as their initial budget of £850,000 begins to spiral beyond control.
