Kevin McCloud joins Matt and Sophie White from Sussex on their adventurous journey to construct an expansive and playful family home for themselves and their kids. Eschewing conventional design, their residence showcases whimsical elements like a revolving bookcase door, hidden dens, secret nooks, one-way mirrors, and even a fireman’s pole. Matt employs a steel frame system to give them the flexibility to modify the layout as needed. They also make alterations to the window shapes and sizes and incorporate a half floor to create a unique James Bond-themed room.
