Meanwhile, Sorey shares with Edna, the seraph, his destination: Rolance, a land famed for its ancient ruins where dragons were once worshipped. Edna is frustrated by Sorey’s unwavering belief in the Celestial Records, yet she decides to accompany him. Later, Lailah poses a thought-provoking question to Sorey about the meaning of "purify," prompting him to consider how he will face the hellions ahead. At that moment, Mikleo, wielding a Divine Artifact, makes his way toward Griftlet Bridge, where ominous clouds churn above.
