Val decides it’s time for a change and begins searching for a larger apartment with more office space, bringing Lauren along for the hunt. Meanwhile, Tina introduces Holly to a stunning loft in her building, which Holly instantly admires. However, Holly’s excitement grows when she learns that the owner, Jay, is incarcerated. Holly and Val attempt to negotiate with Jay to purchase his loft, but ultimately, they don't secure it. Instead, Jay surprises them by offering a different loft in the same building, presenting a new opportunity for the Tyler sisters.
