Holly is thrilled about her new job, but her enthusiasm wanes when she believes her boss dislikes her. Meanwhile, Val struggles to move on after her breakup with Rick, prompting Holly to take her to a club for a night out. There, Val encounters another woman experiencing similar heartbreak. In an unexpected twist, Holly bumps into her boss while dancing with Tina, leading her boss to mistakenly assume that Holly is also a lesbian. With her boss now showing interest, Holly finds herself in a challenging position, unsure of how to clarify her true orientation.
