Percy faces off against his longtime foe, Dr. Anna Ripley, and they reluctantly form a fragile alliance. Although Percy is skeptical about her trustworthiness, Vox Machina decides to include Ripley in their mission. She guides them through the castle's treacherous traps, but things take a turn for the worse when one of their own betrays the group.
