Elfen Lied (2004)

Episode Overview

At an offshore research facility, scientist Kurama dispatches a ruthless assassin named Bando to track down Lucy at a beach in Kamakura. When they find her, she’s in her naive "Nyu" form. Bando strikes her, prompting his partner to finish the job, but the blow triggers Lucy's transformation back. In a fury, she eliminates Bando's accomplice and turns her wrath on Bando himself, wounding him with a gun. Ultimately, Bando is left maimed and blind. Before delivering a final blow, Lucy reverts back to Nyu. Meanwhile, Kohta is hospitalized after his encounter with Bando but is released shortly after, while Yuka searches for Lucy and eventually forgives her upon finding her at home.
