Superbook (1981)
Overview
Superbook, originally known as Animated Parent and Child Theatre, is a beloved anime series crafted by Tatsunoko Productions in Japan in collaboration with the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) in the U.S. Spanning 52 episodes, it explores the stories of the Bible's Old and New Testaments. The initial run featured 26 episodes from October 1981 to March 1982, followed by Superbook II, which aired another 26 episodes from April to September 1983. The series was complemented by The Flying House. CBN is currently revitalizing Superbook, having released fourteen new episodes.
