McCall hurriedly sets out to locate Dante after he’s taken by two frightened deputies who are worried about facing consequences. They had wrongfully detained Dante and resorted to excessive force, only to discover later that he is also a police officer. Meanwhile, Dante, left alone and wounded, begins to hallucinate, which brings to light the complexities of his tumultuous childhood.
