Amid a critical shortage of rum due to a series of robberies unjustly attributed to Jack, Fuller persuades Emilia to orchestrate a trap to rescue Conrad. When the operation takes a turn for the worse and Conrad is shot, Jack becomes convinced that there’s a mole among them. With trust eroding and doubts escalating, Jack devises a risky scheme to assist Mary and secure Conrad’s safety.
