The inventors are tasked with transforming the lives of three remarkable individuals facing significant challenges. Twelve-year-old Pollyanna lost her leg in a tragic accident at just two years old, when a bus struck her, killing her grandmother and injuring her and her mother. Over the past decade, she has undergone 21 surgeries and tried over 20 different prosthetic legs. Despite these hardships, Pollyanna refuses to let her disability hinder her dream of becoming a ballerina, though the ballet world has been tough on her due to her limitations. Engineer Yusuf Mohammed steps in to design a prosthetic leg that allows her to perform the necessary movements. Seventy-three-year-old Bobby, born with brittle bone disease, is also losing his hearing due to nerve damage. His friends, who have known him since before he became deaf, struggle to communicate as they've never learned sign language.
