Title: Siberia's Ice Trains Plot: Nestled within the Arctic Circle, the Ice Trains of Siberia navigate treacherous conditions, facing chilling temperatures that drop to minus 20 degrees Celsius and relentless snowstorms. Beginning in Tobolsk, the route stretches 1,000 miles northward to Novy Urengoy, the largest gas field in Russia. This railway plays a vital role in transporting liquefied gas, with snowplow trains tirelessly clearing the tracks. From Novy Urengoy, the line extends to Nadym, where a new railway is under construction over the notorious "Railway of Death" from Stalin's era. The rugged Arctic terrain is also home to the nomadic Nenets. The journey concludes at Labytnangi, connecting to the Bovanenkovo gas field, the northernmost railway in the world.
