Episode Overview

At school, Laura befriends Amelia, who feels embarrassed by her father’s weight. He works at the blind school where Mary is employed, and the students there adore him, saying they can sense his affection. One day, Laura and some classmates cruelly mock an overweight man, unaware that it’s Amelia's dad they’re targeting. Feeling humiliated, Amelia's father decides to leave town, retreating to the blind school. After a mishap occurs, Amelia finally confesses her deep love for her father, showing him that his worth is not defined by his appearance.
