Episode Overview

Almanzo proposes to Laura, but Mr. Ingalls insists that he must wait until she turns eighteen. Frustrated by the delay, Almanzo pressures Laura to pick between him and her father's wishes. Ultimately, Laura chooses to honor her father's decision, leading to Almanzo's departure and leaving her heartbroken.
