Episode Overview

Percival and Nellie head to New York after the passing of his father, as Percival takes on the responsibility of the family business. Mrs. Oleson struggles with sadness over Nellie's departure. In an effort to cope, the Olesons decide to adopt a girl to fill the void left by Nellie. During their time in Sleepy Eye, they discover a girl who bears a striking resemblance to a young Nellie.
