Episode Overview

While watching the news about an emergency landing at a Los Angeles airport, Dylan and Steve spot a passenger who bears a striking resemblance to Dylan's deceased father. Encouraged by the conspiracy-minded Steve, Dylan becomes convinced his father is still alive. His suspicions deepen when he finds Jack's storage locker has been disturbed. Seeking answers, he visits Christine Pettit at the FBI, who reluctantly agrees to look into it but insists it's just a coincidence. Despite her warnings to drop the matter, Kelly manages to get a passenger list from the airline. Dylan realizes one passenger is named Eddie Waitkus, the real-life inspiration for "The Natural," a story beloved by both him and Jack. Notably, Waitkus had vanished before suddenly reappearing years later, leading Dylan to firmly assert that Jack is still alive.
