Episode Overview
Brandon is involved in a teen review committee that advises one of Jim's clients on a massive new mall project. Marcie, the developer's college-age daughter, makes a strong advance towards Brandon. He is outraged to find out that the construction would mean tearing down the Peach Pit. Confronting Jim, he learns that Jim will advocate for Nat's interests. In an effort to win over Marcie, Brandon takes her to the Peach Pit, but soon realizes her focus is solely on her father's business. The group, minus Brenda, tries to organize a rally, but Nat has already agreed to sell the diner. Feeling disillusioned, Brandon dismisses Jim's explanations about adult financial responsibilities. Ultimately, the deal falls apart, allowing Nat to retain the Peach Pit.
