Episode Overview
After being released from prison, Jack urges Dylan to throw a party, but only Kelly attends. During the celebration at the hotel pool, Dylan confesses to Kelly that he has chosen her over Brenda, and they share a kiss. Later, Dylan and Kelly take Brenda aside to reveal their summer romance, prompting an explosive reaction from Brenda, who declares she will never speak to them again. Strapped for cash, Jack seeks to dissolve Dylan's trust fund for access to the money, and Dylan agrees to this as a gesture of trust in his father, despite Jim's concerns that Jack may exploit him. Meanwhile, Mel moves out of the Taylor home, and David worries about losing his connection to Erin, but Jackie offers him a place to stay with her and Kelly. Nat forgets to place a crucial bet for Brandon, who then requests his bookie's contact information instead of cash.
