Episode Overview
Steve is thrilled to be taken off the waiting list and accepted into California University. A producer, eager to persuade Samantha to star in a sitcom, offers his beach house for a few weeks to Steve, Brandon, and Celeste. They plan a huge party the night before Brenda heads to Minnesota. Kelly returns early from Europe, but without Dylan. She assures everyone everything is fine, yet later confides in Donna that they’ve split. Jill, the producer’s daughter, mistakenly thinks Brandon is a burglar when she finds him in the messy house, while Steve, who has long had a crush on her, annoys Celeste with his antics. Unbeknownst to him, Jill is actually interested in Brandon. Meanwhile, Brenda’s friends in Minnesota bombard her with questions about Beverly Hills, making her doubt her decision, despite Cindy’s reassurance. Dylan tries to reach Brenda from Europe, but she isn’t in her room, and David struggles to find an apartment after getting shut out of the dorms
