Episode Overview
Steve informs Laura that he can’t continue seeing her because he’s in a relationship. During Take Back the Night Week, Laura realizes she was a victim of date rape and decides to call out Steve at a campus rally. Kelly warns Steve, who firmly maintains his innocence. Later, Steve confesses to Celeste about his mistakes, leading her to end their relationship. Just before Laura takes the stage, Kelly grabs the microphone to share her own near-rape experience and reflects on times she regretted past encounters, ultimately labeling Steve a hero for protecting her at a Halloween party. Steve apologizes to Laura, who acknowledges her own role in their situation. Meanwhile, Lucinda openly flirts with Brandon, who is uninterested, while D'Shawn threatens to expose Brandon's affair with Professor Randall's wife unless he helps him with his midterm. Lucinda urges Brandon to take action.
