Despite Rose's desperate appeal, Andrea's parents remain steadfast in their disapproval of her decision to marry. Jesse makes one last effort to change their minds, and just as the civil ceremony is about to begin, the Zuckermans show up unexpectedly. Meanwhile, David insists he's turned his life around but brings a drug-addicted friend on a Valentine's date with Donna. Dylan reminds him of how he helped him stay sober after his father’s funeral and offers his support. When David's dealer pressures him to hide drugs from the police, Dylan convinces him to flush them just in time. Steve hopes to move into Andrea's former room to escape the chaos at the KEG house. Brenda, upset that Stuart hasn’t contacted her for a month, pens a harsh letter, but he surprises her on Valentine’s Day, explaining he was tied up with a project in South America.
