Episode Overview
Brenda makes the decision to spend the entire year in London. Meanwhile, Valerie Malone, the daughter of the Walshes' close family friends, moves in with them after her father's tragic suicide. Steve shares that Celeste broke up with him during their vacation in Hawaii when she saw her high school boyfriend. He comes to realize that his true feelings are for Kelly, only to be surprised by her relationship with Brandon. To cope with his heartbreak, he starts hanging out with Valerie, who, despite her friendly demeanor, smokes pot and makes rude remarks during a phone call. Dylan returns to LA after a two-month drinking spree in Mexico. David updates Kelly about his summer, which included a brief opportunity to tour with Babyface and a mishap with a venereal disease from Ariel. Donna tries to steer clear of David. Finally, Andrea and Jesse bring Hannah home from the hospital following a nearly disastrous incident.
