Episode Overview
Emily returns from Paris for a seminar in La Jolla and asks Brandon to pick her up at the airport, pretending she only has a four-hour layover. In a painful twist, she learns that he is now dating Kelly. After Brandon walks her back to her hotel, they share a heated kiss. Meanwhile, Steve and Griffin plan a holiday rave at an old house, with Valerie helping out to win Steve back. David and Clare mistakenly announce the party on a lesbian bulletin board, attracting a mostly female crowd. The house’s faulty wiring leads to blown fuses, and when Griffin overloads the system, a fire breaks out. Ray saves Steve and Valerie from a bedroom, while Kelly and Allison find themselves trapped in a bathroom, surrounded by flames as firefighters rush to their aid.
