Episode Overview
Kelly is thrilled when her father visits, announcing his intention to move to Los Angeles for good. Jackie and David caution her not to get too optimistic about it. Meanwhile, Bill encourages Kelly to reconsider Colin, but when they visit his loft, they discover he's high, prompting Kelly to end their relationship. Bill misses a meeting with Kelly and the realtor, leaving town without a farewell, but he does leave her flowers and a check. In a moment of desperation, Kelly rolls the check and uses it to snort the cocaine Val had taken from Colin. Over with Joe, he gets his injured ankle checked by the team doctor, who notices an issue with his breathing and suggests a cardiologist visit. Dr. Martin finds Joe has a congenital heart defect, but the athletic department arranges a second opinion, which reassures Joe that he’s fine. Meanwhile, Steve hosts a Roger Corman film festival at the After Dark, where the group learns that Nat once starred in one of Corman’s films.
