Episode Overview
David takes Valerie, Steve, and Clare on a wild weekend trip to Las Vegas, where his reckless driving sends everyone into a panic. They catch Ray's concert, and he jokes about David's chaotic antics. After getting drunk and losing big at the tables, David invites some women he meets on the street to join him at another casino. Instead, they take him to their motel, where they drug him and rob him of his cash, credit cards, jewelry, and clothes. Ray, concerned, calls Donna and urges her to come from Los Angeles. She arrives, scolds her friends for neglecting David, and offers him comfort. Meanwhile, at the Peach Pit, Brandon meets a distraught woman who was robbed shortly after arriving in town and has lost contact with her fiancé. He helps her find her footing after she discovers that her fiancé has moved on. In a separate plot, Steve plagiarizes one of Brandon's term papers and submits it as his own for an independent study project.
