Episode Overview
Steve decides to plead guilty, placing his fate in the hands of the lenient Chancellor Arnold. Meanwhile, Brandon stands firm, refusing to admit to a crime he didn’t commit, and prepares for a hearing that could lead to his expulsion. Randall attempts to incriminate Brandon by arguing he was aware of Steve's paper since he handed it to Muntz for delivery. He also alleges that Brandon allowed Steve to copy his sociology quizzes. In his defense, Steve uncovers fraternity records showing he failed all his sociology quizzes. Consequently, Brandon is exonerated, while Professor Randall faces serious allegations for falsifying his grade records and lying during the hearing. In a separate storyline, Kelly organizes a surprise birthday party for Mark, who prefers solitude and feels overshadowed as guests gravitate toward Brandon. Felice disapproves of Donna rekindling her romance with David, deeming it unhealthy, while Dr. Martin encourages Donna to follow her feelings.
