Episode Overview

Mariah arrives in town to speak at the university's new age festival after publishing her book. She quickly bonds with Kelly, which sets Tracy on edge. In a news segment, Tracy criticizes Mariah's ideas, leading to a heated argument with Brandon. Tracy declines to join him at a harp concert, so he ends up going with Kelly, and they share a kiss afterward. Meanwhile, Clare accidentally spills coffee on her computer while chatting with Steve, destroying her term paper. She blames Steve, who distances himself after helping her recover the file. Clare sends flowers and an apology during the concert. Despite receiving positive reviews for his performance, Rob finds out his movie won’t get a nationwide release, prompting him to consider quitting acting and returning to Indiana.
