Episode Overview

David and Mark host a lively party at their home. Clare witnesses Steve sharing a kiss with another girl, prompting her to end their relationship; she’s exhausted from their constant arguments and his apologies. A wildfire threatens their house after spreading through the hills. Despite her traumatic memories of fire, Kelly chooses to stay and help protect the home. Fortunately, a change in the wind saves the house from destruction. Meanwhile, David overindulges and spends the day dealing with the consequences. Donna injures her knee while attempting to rescue a baby deer, leading to a dramatic rescue by firefighters, including the attractive Cliff Yeager. Afterward, Kelly agrees to go on a date with the determined Mark. Valerie confesses to Brandon about her affair with Kenny, who advises her to end it. Kenny and his wife finally decide to pursue a divorce, but he tells Valerie he needs to keep his distance for now to avoid complications with her attorney.
