The paramedics successfully revive Donna, who quickly returns home from the hospital but struggles with withdrawal symptoms. After admitting to plagiarizing her co-worker's designs, she loses her job. Noah steps in to support her through her addiction, and she forgives him for his affair with Valerie. Meanwhile, a young girl leaves her baby outside the clinic, prompting Kelly to care for the infant and attempt to persuade the mother to reclaim her child. When that fails, she hands the baby over to social services and decides to apply to be the foster mother. Brandon learns that a record company has paid a radio station to get David's song played. At a concert, chaos ensues when fans rush the stage, resulting in injuries. In the aftermath, David quits the band and walks away from his contract. Josh receives a one-year sentence for drug possession, while Valerie confronts her traumatic past, realizing that neither she nor Noah is at fault. Meanwhile, Steve discovers love letters meant for someone else.
