The final witnesses in the prosecution's case take the stand: Margot Tindemans, Stefaan's new girlfriend, and her mother, Lutgard. They recount that on the night of the incident, Margot was focused on preparing her lessons while Lutgard was watching over Rose. The defense attorney challenges their story with tough questions, leading Lutgard to reveal that she was involved in an affair with Guy Vanneste, who is suspected of killing Britt. Delphine grows anxious; feeling she had no other options, she entrusted her children to Carl's daughter without informing her husband.
