Episode Overview

A hundred years after their initial meeting, Damon and Sage reunite at the ceremony to celebrate the refurbishment of Wickery Bridge. Damon is taken aback by Sage's reason for coming back, but he’s intrigued when she suggests a unique approach to uncover Rebekah's intentions. Meanwhile, Abby struggles to adapt to her new circumstances, despite Bonnie and Caroline's support. When Damon shares Stefan's recent difficulties with Elena, she reaches out to him, hoping to rescue a friend in jeopardy and restore his connection to his humanity. In the end, Damon uncovers a new secret weapon and shares the exciting news with Stefan.
