Episode Overview
Title: Memorial Plot: Elena struggles to navigate the emotional rollercoaster that comes with her new vampire existence, while Stefan and Damon clash over the best way to support her. In a bid to assist Elena, Damon discreetly offers his guidance, requesting her to keep it from Stefan. Meanwhile, a newcomer named Connor Jordan arrives and starts probing Sheriff Forbes and Mayor Lockwood, raising Stefan's alarm about a potential vampire hunter threat. Jeremy and Matt are taken aback when their old acquaintance, April, returns to Mystic Falls High. During a town event, Elena nearly loses control, but Caroline intervenes to aid her. Ultimately, Damon opens up about his feelings to an unexpected confidant.
