Krystle and Blake's relationship becomes increasingly strained as their mistrust deepens. Meanwhile, Claudia feels remorse over her night with Adam. Dominique disrupts Alexis' plans to acquire her company, yet she cannot prevent Brady's divorce from moving forward. In a bid to uncover the truth about Jeff's marriage to Nikki, Alexis hires a private investigator, who reveals that Nikki faked the marriage license and tricked Jeff into thinking they were wed while he was intoxicated. When Jeff confronts Nikki, she admits the truth and departs the mansion. Suddenly, Dominique is struck by a severe cough and collapses.
