Blake becomes fixated on capturing Joel and Rita. Meanwhile, a contrite Sammy Jo offers Krystle a prized horse as a form of apology and entices a reluctant Morgan Hess with a substantial reward for the capture of the duo. Galen faces exile to Lisbon, while a hopeful Michael returns to Amanda, only to discover she has feelings for Dex. Alexis severs all ties with Dex, prompting him to seek comfort in Amanda's arms. Blake tries to pull Amanda away from Dex by enticing her with a trip to Hawaii. Adam plots to gain political favor by exposing Bart Fallmont's private life, leading to Steven's protest and a drink shared with Bart. Posing as a reporter, Caress interviews Adam and unexpectedly visits her sister as the narrative of Alexis Carrington and Dexter approaches its climax. In her dreams, Alexis envisions a reunion with Blake, but when her efforts to rekindle their relationship falter, she resolves to dismantle Blake's influence over Denver-Carrington.
