Title: The Triumph Plot: Just as Blake's grip tightens around her neck, Alexis' life is saved when Krystle intervenes, managing to temper Blake's rage, though he swears he will reclaim the Carrington estate. Meanwhile, chaos erupts as La Mirage is engulfed in flames; Amanda finds herself rescued from the deadly smoke by Michael Culhane, an old rival of the Carringtons. Phil Thorpe lashes out, blaming Blake for his wife's death in the inferno, capturing the attention of a news crew. Tragically, Claudia is lost in the fire. Ben receives a cryptic call from a woman, and in her distress over her mother’s so-called "victory," Amanda decides to move in with Blake. As she watches the fire coverage, Alexis begins plotting a devious scheme against Blake, coinciding with a new publisher at the Denver Mirror who prints the explosive headline: BLAKE CARRINGTON ACCUSED OF ARSON-MURDER
