Dana pleads with Adam, expressing her deep desire for their son and suggesting that rekindling their romance might sway the judge in their favor. However, still wounded by her courtroom outburst, Adam remains distant. Meanwhile, an unemployed Leslie approaches Alexis, seeking forgiveness, but Alexis, amused yet unsympathetic, dismisses her. As Adam anxiously awaits the judge's ruling on custody, he feels betrayed by Jesse and Karen's announcement of their reconciliation. Caught off guard by Jeff's marriage proposal, Sammy Jo seeks Krystle's counsel, who bluntly points out the potential family turmoil. Frustrated with Adam's behavior, Dana holds him accountable for their crumbling marriage and decides to leave, positioning Jesse and Karen as likely victors in the custody battle. In a tense moment, Sean returns to Alexis' apartment with intentions to murder her, but he quickly slips away when Dex arrives.
